Socrates Jerome de Guzman

Socrates earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2022 from the University of the Philippines College of Law where he received the Dean’s Service Award for his contributions to the College. as a student, he was also active in numerous public interest organizations.

He honed his legal and practical skills during his stint as an intern at the UP Office of Legal Aid and the National Union of Peoples’ Lawyers. Socrates was also an exchange student from 2015 to 2016 in the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where he studied Public International Law and Human Rights Law in Southeast Asia.

In MVGS, Socrates assists Partners and senior lawyers in various fields of practice such as alternative dispute resolution, taxation, and labor & employment.
